Namaskaram and a warm welcome to the sadhakas who have taken interest in the Gita Project. Our goal in this endeavour is to document the Gita from multiple points of view, as explained by the great Acharyas of the past and present. In this project, we will study the bhashyams from Advaita, Dvaita and Vishishtadvaita points of view. We will faithfully reproduce the Acharyas’ interpretations the best way possible and only add clarifying comments of our own when necessary. For each slokam, we will study the bhashyams of Shankaracharya for an Advaita point of view, Ramanuja for a Vishishtadvaita point of view, and Madhvacharya for a Dvaita point of view. We will also present the bhashyams of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Swami Vivekananda and Chakravarti Rajagopalachari as appropriate. Whether you are an aspirant, a practicing reader, a reciter or a scholar of the Gita, we hope our work will benefit you as much as it benefits us.
